Gonna call round 6 even. Both fighters worked hard, but after 1:30 mark, Montano seemed to throw and land a bit more from the outside, while Diaz was taking a bit of a rest.

    10-10 (hate that)

    59-56 Diaz

    round 7

they come out and get inside right away. nothing big lands off the bat. now the seperate and miss some jabs. Montano misses a lead right. again. Now diaz moves in and rips and uppercut and they go to work with Diaz getting the best of it. Diaz goes downstairs upstairs and lands well. Montano lands but barely. Diaz throwing with more authority. 1:30 left. more uppercuts from both Montano lands a pretty nice one. now they seperate Diaz lands some nice punches. big hook to the body,. Diaz rips some uppercuts on the inside and also a big right hook that lands. Montano lands a big hook to the body. Diaz lands nice combo tot he body. Montano hook to the boyd mostly blocked. DSiaz lunges in but mostly misses. Flurry to end the round but nothing lands.

    10-9 Diaz.

Diaz takes the fight back inside. Beating Montano up on the ropes, throwing alot of uppercuts. Once they leave the ropes, Diaz stays inside and simply pounds Montano. Montano is fighting back, but is weaker and has little power. Diaz drives him back to ropes at the end and they trade. But Diaz wins. Round 7 for Diaz.

(another Ring girl, Blonde, huge breasts, works the camera pretty good)

    69-65 Diaz

its not a title fight. Diaz holds the 135 lb title but this is a 140 lb fight.

    round 8

this fight is basically the same round after round really i dont see it changing much. Diaz blocks well on the inside and throws nice uppercuts. they seperate every once in a while but nothing much happens there. Diaz is really ripping his hooks to the body but Montano takes it well. However now Montano is barely landing anything significant anymore. Diaz looking like a poor man's Hatton in there. 30 seconds left Diaz' round so far. nice uppercut followed by a big right hook lands for Diaz. Montano backs up.

    10-9 Diaz

Diaz punishing Montano on the inside. Great right hook to the head pushes Montano back. Montano seems to be wary of engaging after that.

    Diaz wins the round.

    79-74 Diaz

Montano has a good chin if nothing else.

Hard left hands backs up Montano. Starting to get even more one sided. If Diaz had power, this fight ends in round 5 or so. Montano still fighting, but only when Diaz isnt.

    Diaz's round

    89-83 Diaz.

Yah, but he has better subtle movement. He is very very strong. But Hatton has more power and better foot and handspeed.

Pacquiao fighting him would prepare him a bit for the strength of Hatton, but not the speed and punch placement. But Hatton is easier to hit.
