RD 1: Both landing cleanly, with Juan the aggressor and Julio counterpunching. However, Juan is landing the harder shots and backing him up. Round to Juan. RD 2: Juan is cleanly landing a right straight followed by a left hook to the chin on the inside. That combo gives him the second as well in my book. So far 2-0 Juan.
Julio cannot keep Juan off of him. Julio switched to southpaw for the first minute, and effectively circled...until he switched back and Juan began to land a monster combo of an overhand right followed by a left hook on the inside. Julio is landing, but his neck is getting snapped back. Juan's isn't. 3-0 Juan.
Rd 4: Carbon copy of Round 3. Julio switches to southpaw, then back to orthodox, and gets clocked. Juan's left jab is coming across like a left cross. Julio switches back to southpaw at the end of the round and Juan slows down a little bit. Still, 4-0 Juan.
Juan Diaz isn't a hard puncher but I don't think Julio can take this punishment for a full twelve rounds.
Rd 5: I think Julio has decided to go southpaw for awhile. He's landing some straight lead lefts. But Juan has now decided to go to the body. Julio is sticking his elbows out on the inside. No complaints. Even round, maybe for Julio. I'll score it even. 4-0-1 Juan
Rd 6: They're both landing, but Juan is just landing more and harder. Juan is throwing an effective 4 punch combo time after time. Juan lands a triple left hook. Julio goes back to orthodox but just can't make Juan take a backwards step. 5-0-1 Juan.
