Laughable coming from the guy making a laundry list of excuses in the Horn thread, your such a hypocrite lol
Calling it how it is about Horns despicable foul ridden performance in his own backyard is pretty straight forward and realistic. You refuse to accept that those fights were easy for Nate's opponents and have excuses as to why he lost. News flash Diaz bros usually fail against top fighters who stick to gameplans. If you're any good and don't fight their fight then you have a very good chance at beating them.
No excuse at all for any of the losses they lost fair and square,i was pointing out facts that related to how poorly a couple of performances were and the fact that all the losses in the last 10 or so years have been against world champions with Nates loss to Thompson the only stoppage, none of the others fights were close to being stopped.
Nate has totally unorthodox style and has always looked sloppy but there is a reason why he's doing it and having success, the luke thomas video I put up in this thread does a great job as well as other things explaining how and why he throws those shots from weird angles and different stances,he also talks about the future Diaz v Masvidal fight
No surprise to see you know as little about MMA as you do about boxing and I look forward to more comments like this to laugh at
What is your problem dude? You seem to get very upset when someone says something the slightest bit negative about a fighter you are a fan of. Diaz has the record of a journeyman.
If you even had the slightest clue about the sport you would know that losses are more common especially in the UFC were you don't get to repeatedly fight nobodies like boxers do to give themselves deceiving records. Nate has fought nothing but killers and or champions for 15+ years which is why he had a few losses along the way and I could list so many champions and HOF mma fighters with similar if not worse record then Nate but I don't need to because everybody but you already knows that.
Nate Diaz looked fairly good against Pettis at the weekend BUT he is the same as he has always been. Against top opposition he wins some/he loses some. Diaz is a good fighter but is not and has never been elite or anywhere near good enough to win or seriously challenge for a ufc belt. There is a reason he refuses generous ufc offers of fights against guys like Woodley/Ferguson over recent years and for belts. He can't beat those guys and was holding out for a money fight AGAIN with Conor. Refused fights for 3 frickin years because he was afraid he would lose those type of fights and ruin his 3rd fight with Conor. It got to the stage where he had to take a fight, he couldn't wait around for another 3 yrs avoiding fights.
Exactly. Diva personality aside Diaz is a GOOD fighter with some GREAT attributes. But he almost ALWAYS falls to top opponents who are ready for him. If you're a top guy and you gameplan for Diaz you beat him. It's as simple as that. Diaz picked the right time to come back due to the temporary rise of Pettis at Welterweight and of course the surging Masvidal. Beat Pettis who he is a stylistic nightmare for and call out gamebred. His team definitely had this all in mind. Had Pettis not found lightning in a bottle against Thompson I'm pretty sure Nate would still be waiting on the sidelines making all sorts of demands.
Nate doesn't need to fight and has been making more money outside that cage the last few years which has more to do with him not fighting then what your making out. He also knows his own value and is unwilling to bend the knee like so many of these other fighters who make it impossible for fighters to unionize and or come together to get what there actually worth especially compared to how much money UFC is actually making, for selfish reasons I wish he hadn't taken that time off but respect fighters that no there worth and won't settle or be dictated to by the UFC who don't even properly take care of the fighters medicals. Mike Perry is a great recent example of how little these guys make and some of the consequences the fighters go thru after putting on these epic wars, since UFC limit fighters sponsorship money due to there ridiculous reebok deal Perry only got paid a laughable $10K instead of the $50-100k at least he could have made that would have helped make up for his measly pay UFC gave him of $57K that would barely have covered his expenses and surgery
Diaz looked better than ever imo?his weakness was taking leg kicks but he seemed like he'd worked on it. His losses don't bother me as he's so attacking he will lose some fights.
