Anyone not think GSP would have potshotted him all night and if need be put him on his back. Seems some people are giving Diaz rounds against Condit. Do you think he'd win a single round vs GSP?
I still think Diaz-GSP is a 50/50 fight thru 5 rds... I don`t think GSP can beat Diaz on the feet & Nick is extremely active & dangerous off his back with strikes & subs. Condit getting a close decision over Diaz does not make Diaz any less of a fighter or mean that he was over-hyped or any of that nonsense, it just means that Condit should get more respect than he previously got.
i dont think so, GSP would get countered by diaz, he doesnt have really fast hands but he has the timing and he would catch GSP standing no doubt, GSP is not comfortable taking shots and his foot work wouldnt be as good as condits either. Remember GSP was gettin tagged by shields quite easily......Diaz would catch him too
It wont go anything like Diaz / Condit because GSP doesn't fight like that. It takes a special sort of ***** to be able to promise thosands of people he is going to KO someone or die trying only to literally run away.
Yea... I honestly think GSP would make an easy night's work of Diaz. I don't toss that word around either. I honestly believe GSP would 5-0 UD Diaz if not finish him.
Gsp would do similar to Condit but add plenty of easy takedowns to make the rds more definitive for the judges. GSP doesn't gas either so easy win imo.
People don't realise how slow Diaz is. He makes up for it with toughness and conditioning. He will walk through a shot, keep punching etc
I know not only is he comically slow but he's footwork is terrible he literally just followed condit around not once did he try to cut the cage off, he's been getting away with it because like you say he's tough SOB and has great cardio so when some1 fights his fight he's in his element but that doesn't cut it at the top against smart fighters! I honestly think GSP could stop him (ref tko)
GSP won every second of the fight until the eye poke and then went on to win 2/3rds of the rest of the seconds. Sheilds had nothing for him. As for Diaz, GSP would take him down, pass his guard and beat on him like he did Penn. People talk about Diaz's great guard, but it's basically because he subbed Gomi with a gogo. GSP is much bigger and better than Gomi and every other wrestler that took Diaz down and beat him in his last run in the UFC. GSP beats him all five rounds, Diaz ends up cut, GSP ends up looking fine and all sorts of tards will ***** that Diaz was the "real fighter".
