I actually think it's good for them. Marquez seems to have gotten a bit slower/older, and Diaz seems to not have the same heart for the sport...Diaz has heart, and is a true warrior, but I think his mind and heart are not 100% with boxing nowadays, actually I'm almost certian of that. Diaz will have a nice future as a professional white collar worker..I wish him well...I don't like seeing my favorite fighters fighting after they lost even a little desire.

 

I feel this time Diaz will take victory. He was doing well for most early part of their previous fight until his chin betrayed him. He has hurt jmm. though im still rooting for jmm.

 

I really really ****ing hope Marquez fights Katsidis next and retires as a champ, that would do it for me. By the way if anyone here from da bay Katsidis will be chillin in San Leandro this week and present also at the Ward fight.

Its funny you mention Donaire since Katsidis deals with his dad(Cutman). Nonito and his dad dont speak though they have somewhat of a grudge. Most likely he'll be at this boxing gym(the Kennel) from what ive been told.

 

yeah i've heard nonito is having issues with his family not just dad. hard to believe b/c nonito comes across as a pretty easy going, happy go lucky kind of guy but then again it's only from what i've seen in interviews.

 

Marquez is slipping, hopefully this is a final good payday, and if he's shot, he can retire. If I remember correctly, the man is a certified accountant, and an altogether decent and intelligent guy, hopefully he can leave the ring with his mind intact.

 

Katsidis? I was under the impression that Khan would be fighting the winner of this bout.
