I'm a Paulie fan, but I don't know if diaz was overrated or what....the knockdown was full of crap...but diaz was hurt by paulie...

Your thoughts? I was absolutely shocked juan was rocked....I'm very excited about a khan-malignaggi fight....I would favor khan but paulie is a tough out for anybody, when he is on top of his game...no easy pickens

Diaz was hurt because he's out-sized at jr. welterweight. He needs to trim his ass down and move back down in weight.

agreed, but so many people said diaz would improve, and paulie wouldn't show up....the exact opposite happened...i'm still shocked the guy with 5 KO's hurt somebody..

I don't think either fighter was seriously hurt; if you anything u can make an argument that each fighter was more "buzzed" during there first fight. There was a moment maybe in the mid round where it appeared that Diaz was hurt, but I think the replay showed it didn't seem as bad as it looked. Even than, if Paulie did or could (hurt Diaz) why would u be shocked? Paulie is fighting virtually in his weight class, his got the size, and length advantage, and weighed in at 149-150 during the fight-almost 10 pounds heavier than a guy who is best suited to fight at 135. On top of that Diaz has subpar defense, and even some like Paulie who lacks power can use his speed and catch Diaz with a punch that he doesn't see coming.

There's that old saying in boxing, "once you get your trigger pulled, its easier to happen again!"

Diaz got his trigger pulled, he got brutally KO'd by JMM....
.....so its no shock that it would take something much less to have it pulled again.

Did you guys see Paulie after he hurt Diaz........he threw a few shots and stopped fighting altogether........its as if he was more shocked that he badly hurt Diaz, than Diaz himself was with being hurt.

Paulie was clueless as to how to go about finishing!

The funny thing is, when Malignaggi landed that punch that somewhat stunned Diaz, even Paulie himself looked surprised. Malignaggi has absolutely NO power....I think my daughter could take his shots...but he is a good fighter, and he looked pretty good against Diaz.

I agree, but seriously, I thought paulie was faster, and it showed in the punch stats, but he was busier in the first fight...Paulie was right, he was just sharper and accurate this time....The knockdown was full of garbage, diaz was off balance and was not hurt there...he was hurt the round before, or after I think? It was visible....

i do find it interesting that bob papa siad they spent the day saying the other guy can't punch...just a tid bit...

may just have enough to KO Khan. Have to keep in mind that Paulie has a great chin.

Even though I'm not too crazy about PM clowning around, he did indeed beat Diaz by a good margin. IMO, Diaz was telegraphing his left hook. He would always lower his rt. shoulder before throwing it. Kudos to PM.

As previous posters have said, malignaggi was more shocked then diaz...at this point in their carears, who would of thought diaz might have peaked(not shot), and that malignaggi showed more promise...
