I'm a big Juan Diaz fan and i respect as a fighter and i respect him as a man outside of boxing but damn it he clearly lost this fight. I still like to know how in the world some here thought Diaz won the fight? Diaz atbest won atleast up to 5 rounds or some can make a case it was a draw but 7 rounds for Diaz? lol wow.
i've yet to see this fight, so if possible could someone provide me a link? I found the post match interview and felt sorry for paulie. He has balls standing infront of the crowd and judges saying that stuff. The horrible thing for him as he pointed out is this fight could have potentially put his name in peoples mouths but he's been ****ed out of it (going on peoples comments on here). Not only did the judging potentially take away a possible big pay day but it took a bit of his love for boxing. If diaz lost this fight.. knew it was a fix then he should man up and take the loss. Thanks in advance of a link.
I will not complaint about the 115-113 because a couple of rounds were very close. But the other two score tell you that no matter what happened in the ring they were not going to allow Paulie to win. They knew Paulie couldn't KO anybody even if they give him a bat.
Look at the Majority who are saying Paulie won, the type of fans they are they usally go for the slicksters
Personally I've got it 115-113 Diaz but I could see it being either 114 apiece or 115-113 Malignaggi.
I wouldnt say robbed I would say if anything he was robbed it was the wide scoring it was close and he deserved at least that much on paper but to say he was robbed is not exactly real neither perhaps a draw would have been the best way to go about this Thats exactly how I had it honestly that score either way or a draw in the middle would have been fine, the only robbery was that the judges had it so wide otehr than that either guy could have won This content is protected
which makes it a robbery. I had it a draw myself and could have seen it going for Diaz by a round or two at most but that fight was won by Diaz when it was signed.
I see that you twice say that the punchstats were lopsided in favor of Paulie. WHAT???? Now I'm fairly certain that either you didn't watch the fight, or are delusional. At the end of the fight, the compubox #'s were shown and Paulie landed less than 20 more punches than Diaz. I believe it was either 12 or 14 more landed total by Paulie. But in the powerpunch category, Paulie landed over 40 LESS. How the **** is that lopsided in favor of Paulie? Now your opinion should be irrelevant in reference to this discussion. You just seem to make **** up as you go along to try and support your misguided opinion. Are you a politician or something?
this is the thing though, paulie out landed diaz by a wide margin in jabs, and those jabs appeared cleaner then anything diaz landed on paulie.... and the majority of people that seem to give it to diaz are awarding him for his agression, when in reality paulie was the agressor, not diaz by out throwing him by 200, and by most accounts landing the cleaner effective punches...
