Dib was carrying on like he scored the winning goal in the world cup. But if you saw him after the Luevano fight you'd expect nothing less of him.
On the commentators with balls, its a hard one cos if you do hang **** on your own coverage its a sure fire way to not be working the next week. Ask Upham and Briggs. When re-watching it this morning the second banana had a go in the post fight round up but a few minutes later seemed to be toeing the party line that it was all great entertainment. Unfortunately none of our guys have the standing of a Larry Merchant and can get away with what he does.
Where did I say Dib won it fair and square? I said I would like to have seen it go on, seems like some of you need to read before you post. I could give a **** who won the bout to be honest - dont care for Dib at all. But if you did to me what that japanese was doing then I would bring out the rough stuff without hesitation. And you all seem to be highlighting Dib's actions and lowlighting the Japanese numerous offences.
Good win, but come on man..THis Japanese is not really top shelf, another mismatch. But the dramatics was better than the actual fight entertaining stuff....As long as no chairs are thrown it's all good.
Your talking **** mate. So, the Japanse hit him with a combo and thus all the fouls I saw him do were my imagination? Is that what you are telling me? My analysis? No analysis needed, seen plenty of fouls and know a foul when I see it. Both fouled but the Japanese started it and did it plenty before Dib did anything. :deal
Yep, it was like a soccer player rolling around in 'agony' until the opponent gets booked, them promptly getting up and sprinting off. He was trying to bull**** the ref - and make it quite clear he'd been banged about 5 seconds after being on the canvas - and the ref spunked it. Terrible, terrible reffing. How he missed the punch when the Japanese guy was on the deck I'll never know. And then to count and wave it off??? That should be a NC at least. He was lucky not to be DQ'd, but to give a KO over it is a farce. It's embarrasing, and I don't care how dirty the Japanese guy was (if he was), it doesn't make it OK for the home town guy to punch a guy on the deck, and then get the win for it.
Ok, did you even go back and read those posts? So he what, fouled by charging across the ring at the bell? Fouled when Dib fell over as Yamaguchi advanced. In no way was there an intentional knee there. They touched gloves after. The Dib kd. Yeah, 3 punch foul combo to the head. I said there may have been one while he was down but couldn't make it out from the camera angle. So Billy didn't foul by clinching and holding Yamaguchis head by his hip. But Yamaguchi did foul by pushing him forward in this position? OK. Fouled Dib be lifting him up? I guess he did, but then again how could he do that unless Dib was over him? Disregarded instructions? Well I guess he did since he can't understand a word of English. Why else did Fear take him to his corner, maybe it was because Footit is fluent in Japanese? But anyway, according to you its ok to throw a punch at someone if they're down as long as you feel you getting the rough end of the stick. Thanks for coming.
The Japanese guy dropped him in the first minute of the fight. That was not a foul. To interpret the entire fight as a disgrace from all the parties involved - The fighters, the corners and the referee performance is a joke. The only way is up from here on - And it was awesome to watch fights in glorious HD on my TV.
Many people saw the japanese commit a bunch of fouls and carry on yet lets brush that under the carpet so your opinion looks good. Dib stated clearly that a knee hit him - and the replays showed it. You are obviously very against Dib that you take it personally when someone does not agree with you. Thanks for coming - thanks for being a pain!
For the third and hopefully, the last time, a knee hit Dib because (and try to keep up this time); Dib slips on the canvas. Not a foul by Yamaguchi. As Dib slips Yamaguchi is moving in to oh, I don't know, probably hit him seeing as its a boxing match and all. Again, no foul. Seeing as Dib is now down on the canvas and amazingly at knee high, and seeing as Yamaguchis momentum has carried him forward then guess what happens? You sir, are correct, Yamaguchis knee does hit Dib in the face. How you are able to even suggest there is a foul in that is indeed credit to the special education systems our schools have in place. I did cover all your points. Really I did. Its all there in my posts. True, I did conceal them amongst 'words' but its just the way I roll. Yeah Dib clearly stated a knee hit him. He also clearly stated he thought he'd won his fight against Luevano. Maybe you can start to watch a few more fights and try to work out your own opinions. Give that a go and get back to me. I take it personally? Check out your last response. Its ok though mate, I get a lot of practise with kronky for these special situations so I can handle people such as yourself.
You boys can argue black and blue behind the sidelines but that is not going to get it sorted out for future Superbox events. Does anyone know if there is legit law about a 3 man corner in NSW? Zelky posts in here maybe he can answer the question if Billy.H has respect from his boxers. If so why doesn't he have the situation under control?
