    pecks- lewis said not to training green twice as he wouldn't win a world title? guess he said no twice knowing he would win 2 world titles?! ;)

    I'll tell u why I am calling him a clown BECAUSE EVERYONE has been kissen his A55 for years saying he is the next champ and blah blah blah and many and many others who always thought he was all hype and he should have 2 defeats and maybe even 1 more on his record, BUT NO DOUBT NOW he has lost 2 fights that i have seen and most of all that FARCE from last night.

    people are syaing well Aussie fighters get robbed yeah they do and it sucks but here we are sturggling to keep the sport alive here TRYING to get top fighters out here and u think after seeing this trash they will get a WINKY or TAYLOR out here.........NO CHANCE IN HELL.

    DIB IS A CLOWN, WHY....HE WEARS THAT BELT AND THINKS HE IS CHAMP. HE IS A CHUMP! Will be and always will be till he pulls his head in and learns to be a true champ....he proved he had heart last night but thats all.

    Maybe there's a real vendetta here. I've just joined up to this forum but have been reading threads for a long time. I anm a huge boxing fan and like what Dib brings to the ring. Many people might bnot like his style, but that's what makes him unique. I've seen the fight 3 times now. The right decision was made. Marali threw some big punches, but not as many as those connecting from Dib. Dib connected with a punch putting Marali through the ropes in the 10th (no standing 8 count) and kept counter punching, even when he looked spent. The commentary, throughout the fight, also indicated that Billy Dib was scoring well. Have a close look at the number of punches Marali threw and the percentage Billy avoided - maybe punters out there were miscounting but there were an awful lot of punches that billy dib avoided. At the end of the day - good luck to him. aS FOR THE THREAD, How dare you wear that belt? Have another look at the fight, turn off the commentary and judge for yourself.

    Yeah i watched the fight without hearing commentators the 1st time & scored it 116-111 to Marali.

    Mate it came down to who got smacked and that was DIB he was tired he did NOTHING and i understand where u are coming from because where i saw the fight I couldnt hear it anyways. Dib was beatten Bad because he did nothing but run, He didn't even throw shots and he was rocked a number of times and dropped once.

    The guy is just a paper champ who has talent but its wasted on him and the fact he was given a gift win just won't help him at all. Losing he could go back and set himself up for a good return but next fight he gets carried out of the ring (that being said If he fights someone decent) fights someone good it ends in 4.

    No i don't like him because he thinks he is a true champ and he is just a joke. Thought this for a long time now but u know what He isn't the problem ok he may think he is hot 5hit and thats fine, Most fighters do.

    Its all these guys who think he is great and say how he is the next great aussie champ and I just laugh. The guy is decent but nothing much more than that, It's like if I said Katsidis would Outbox Floyd mayweather with skills because we all know Mike would have a Punchers chance but as for Skills Floyd is unmatched.

    Dib has skills that are wasted on him and he will never be anything more than a decent fighter.

    I don't get why we should try and score the fight without the sound. It was a Dib pro crowd seeing how the fight was in Australia. It just makes it look all the more obvious if even they know Murali should have won.

    Thats also a great point u bring up, With the sound it would have made it more clear that Dib was taken to school. How anyone can score that fight to Dib just shocks me, Truly it was the biggest Joke in Aussie boxing for a long time.

    Now, now, that's a bit harsh! Read through the entire thread and pick up on the common theme. Those who have written comments have made it clear they don't like Billy Dib. Each to their own I suppose. The reality of it is that it was a great fight. Incredibly close and tenacity from both fighters. Certainly showed tremendous courage by both. Incidentally, theMarali knockdown in the 10th should have been a 10-8 round to Billy Dib.

    And Dib should have lost a point for Johnny Lewis lack of fixing his tape on the gloves. ANYONE WHO THINKS Dib won knows jack all about Boxing it's simple as that Plus I don't like many fighters but i score the fight as i see it. Unlike Barry Michael I can put my personally feelings aside to score a fight :bart
