Pleaseeeeeeeeeee...If he would get a Cotto figth right now I'd say ok,but it's clearly he wouldn't so fight Collazo.And btw Collazo beat Hatton,the judges were watching another fight.And Berto doesn't murder no one.Clearly faded Mosley?Shane wasn't clearly faded even with Mayorga and he looked normal with Cotto,but Miguel made him look bad,beating him at anything.And Cotto get stopped by this guy?Come on people...he lost 1 fight and now he is a bum?Get real...

 

Thunder, this poster is incapable of being Real.....If boxing carried his logic throughout history many of the greatest fights in our beloved sport would've never happened

 

Cotto is FAR from a bum...I like Cotto a lot and I really think he could beat Margo in a rematch if he learns to fight goin backwards and do more body work...I just think that Berto would give him a helluva fight, and I also think Berto is underated here...he's only ****in 25...or around there, yet people act like he has peaked by calling out his weakness and not siting his strengths. Another thing, I had Collazo over Hatton too, but he should have dominated him. But anyone who has watched Shane fight knows that he is showing slippage...way back to the Vargas fights. No way Cotto coul eat a near prime Shane to the punch...Ever!

Well finally some sense...giving a hell of a fight is a lot more diferent than stopping someone....Cotto would beat this guy....And let's not forget Shane tried 100 game plans,Miguel was a hell of a lot better that night...he was beating him,boxing him,swarming him,anything.

Zavy, I understand your assessment of Berto. Unfortunately, your vision of Berto does not mesh well with Reality, heres why:
Berto has blinding speed (great)

Berto has horrible stamina(despite being hyped otherwise)

Berto has an extremely poor sense of timing and distance

Berto has extremely mediocre or even poor technique

Berto has very overrated or mediocre power

Berto has borderline mongoloid intelligence

Berto has been matched with fighters that he can beat and beat fairly easily. I think that is easily understood. Berto for the most part is alot of hype. Because of the above stated things Berto will fail against top tier WWs and a couple fighters that have mastered a few of the things Berto hasnt.......One being Collazo, who has an extremely solid skillset, is crafty and has stamina that makes Berto seem like a 4 round HW fighter

I do hope Berto faces his mandatory Collazo who will be his toughest test to date. Hopefully a win over Collazo will silence the Berto naysayers.
