DiBella & Arum Fail To Make Deal For Martinez-Cotto

You're super late and Martinez isn't ducking anyone neither is Cotto. Bob wants 100% of the promoting..thats the problem and Dibella isn't taking that ****.

When you have the power, which unfortunately Arum has, he can say and do what he wants.

It wasn't Arum that really killed the deal. It was Cotto.

Cotto's team (not including Arum, he just presented what Martinez wanted) said that Martinez should only get a guaranteed sum, and that they would not accept any percentage deal in this fight.

Dibella's team wouldn't accept that financial condition.

 

Mob Arum wanted a buyout so he would get ALL promotional, gate and PPV income with paying Martinez a fix prize (2.5M is very low considering the fight would generate between 15 to 20M easy, and Maravilla's stock is very high now.)

Sergio should never agree to a shitty deal again, ever. The World MW Champion had to take the short money, the catch-weight, Williams' judges and ref and the challenger's corner plus all the disrespect during the promotion or PDub would've never signed. When the KO occured, Martinez was behind on 2 cards despite clearly winning the opening round.

Never ever agree to such deal Maravilla! You should get what you're entitled to and **** all the greedy bitches who think otherwise.

 

Cotto is not ducking Martinez, Martinez is not ducking Cotto.

Arum is ducking having to split the profits with DiBella, so keeps the fighters withing Top Rank, end of story.
