According to Primerahora, Dibella says that Berto is willing to go up to 154 to challenge Cotto. "If Pac fights Floyd the possibilities of a Berto-Cotto fight would increase. I talked to Arum and he was honest by saying that I had to be patient." Dibella concluded. Other possibilities mentioned in the article are Margarito and Chavez Jr.

Good fight IMO. I got Cotto by late TKO in a very competitive fight.

...Supposedly. He hasn't even fought a top four in the division he's a titlist in though so far.

I wonder why they forgot about Mosley all of the sudden.

I give him 0% chance against the two top welterweights right now. If I were him, I'd try a unification with the IBF boy. Or retiring undefeated and calling myself the GOAT...Maybe become a famous rapper named "DJ G to the OAT"...or "Undies Feated". Or something clever and pun-like as mentioned.

Perhaps because he just got his ass kicked by Mayweather and he hasn't said a ****ing peep since then.

Good point, you would think berto would be asking for this fight seeing what Mayweather was able to do with Mosley.

The problem is now mosley doesn't hold a title it would no longer be a unification bout so maybe the risk ain't worth the reward.

I heard he was looking to fight Sergio Mora since. I still think Mosley squashes Berto. As well as Alexander, Bradley, Khan, Williams, Cotto, Martinez and Calderon. Okay, Calderon wouldn't smash him, but he'd outbox the **** out of him.

I agree but I wouldn't wait for Mosley if I was Berto. Mosley's next step is still unknown.
