DiBella considering Lara vs Martinez

If I was DiBella, I'd avoid that.

If I was a fan, I'd love it.

 

I guess Lara's style would make it a decent fight if it happens.

 

Well lara has to wait cause martinez next fight is the winner of lee vs chavez. No way lou would be stupid enough to put martinez in a ring with lara. Lara should fight molina to settle the score.

 

Awesome fight! Lara is better than Pirog and Golovkin IMO.

 

Please consider making Golovkin/Martinez. . . That is the best style matchup right there. . . And while I'm not 100% sold on Golovkin, I do think his evolved style would not only make for a fan friendly fight, but a fight fought on even grounds. .

Of course that is what DiBella DOES NOT want. . .

 

I doubt lou would really put martinez in the ring vs lara before facing rither chavez or lee.

 

I thought Martinez is waiting for the Junior v Lee winner? A bit risky to take on a fighter as good as Lara in the interim.

I don't know if the style-mesh would be that entertaining. . . I love the sweet science, but I don't wanna see two guys acting like coiled up vipers, doing more "waiting", than punching. . . Sergio is basically like a "super" Lara.

Pit him with Golovkin. . . Or the winner of Chavez/Lee; Pirog/Geale (if that fight gets made for HBO in August).

 

Exactly. Lou is short on money makers, Sergio is his highest ranked fighter and in favour with HBO, putting him in with Lara would be stupid.

 

i'm starting to think martinez never really wanted a piece of chavez....they just figured he'd run away and let the fans murder him online...but since chavez has stepped up, martinez has tried to bail a few times already...
