youve got it backwards. Chavez is one of the biggest names that generates a grip of money and a champ. but, although hes improving, hes seen as an overhyped average fighter that Sergio should beat with ease.

seems more like a low risk high reward fight for Sergio.

Not to worry. I've seen no evidence that Texas has a commission. :good

"They say no one wants to fight him at 154 or 160. I will go to 160 to fight him," Lara revealed.

This is a good light-middleweight fight but I'd prefer to see the 160 champ fight middleweights...

    CHASING...NO

using him as an excuse, yes....he's reallly been chasing the big names like cotto, may and pac....chavez he just has something against cause of his title....that's it....

now that chavez has called his bluff...sergio has been looking for various ways to get out of it....

not saying i think chavez will murder the guy in the ring, but its a tough fight for sergio and he knows it....i think sergio would rather cash out and get schooled by floyd or cotto than to get put to shame by jr

bull****....chavez doesn't make floyd money to where he can afford to give sergio like 8 million.....chavez jr is popular yes, but he's no where near a cash cow.....

martinez would be lucky to get a mill....then if he looks bad there go his chances at the bigger names.....

Chavez contract with Top rank is ending soon and Chavez is balking at re signing. Arum may sacrifice him.

Chavez would get KTFO by martinez, and Chavez winning against the limited Lee is not a given either, considering the fact that Chavez is quite limited himself.

Low reward fight for Sergio against a really good fighter who doesn't even look good on paper or have much in the way of fans. I'm not hot on the idea for him.

exactly they look at how much money they can make prior to making fights instead of testing themselves...

martinez vs lara is a great fight... a better fight than martinez vs chavez jr... but second fight would be a bigger event and would make a lot more money to all involved sad but true

    :hat
