    Even though they make money I don't think there's too much spare cash in the UFC. They don't have the TV deals that boxing have or the live gate, and they've got massive overheads in terms of production and advertisement.

    A fight like Calzaghe-Hopkins with $11m from site and $6.5 from HBO (never mind Setanta) is probably bringing in more cash than some UFC ppv's and that was on regular HBO.

    now i'm not a big mma fan myself, but he's got such a hard on for putting it down.

    MMA won't kill boxing,boxing will only benefit from MMA's success.It forces boxing to put on quality shows and action packed undercards.This is what the fans want.That,and reasonable judging.
