Let me be as straight forward and honest as I can. If Carl Froch was a good enough fighter to be taken seriously, HBO would buy the fight, and DiBella would make it happen. However, Froch is a 2nd rater who was in the right place at the right time to pick up a vacant title. HBO does not want the fight because Froch ain't good enough to be there with Taylor.

DiBella says Taylor-Johnson won't happen. It'll be either Froch or Ward or Green.

whats sad is HBO says no one no whos Froch is, so they are not interested
but they have given us such garbage as
    Bernard Hopkins vs Morrade Hakkar
    Wlad K vs Ray Austin
Oscar De La Hoya vs Patrick Charpentier
roy jones vs richard frazier, richard hall

It's sad because it is HBO job to help his viewers to know new boxers. I mean, it's obvious you have to prepare the next ones. How long can the old shot boxers can go on? HBO should always put new names on the undercards and make them know.

and you base your assessment on froch from which fights exactly?

the bottom line is that taylor knows this fight is high risk / low reward because the bulk of the american market haven't got a ****in clue about anything that happens outside there own country.

america is not interested in making the best fights - its just money, money, ****ing money, and its ruining boxing.

Taylor says it's about world titles and so he'll fight Glen Johnson for what - the super-super middle catchweight championship of North America? The man is full of it, and only wants the TV money. If Taylor is considering fighting Glen Johnson, a big risk with little reward, then he is desperate for an opponent. I don't believe that he has loads of options, at all.

I hope he loses his WBC mandatory shot at Froch, that the WBC give it to someone like Dirrell and that Showtime go for Froch-Dirrell later in the year, a possibilty.

Showtime should have the hungry exciting fighters getting the TV dates, they're making a great start this year with Adamek-Banks.

    Boo, stop talking **** mate.

It's nothing to do with how good Carl Froch is. If that was ever a serious consideration he would never have been in the same ring as Jeff Lacy.

Taylor is in position to win a major title and says no to the champ because he is unknown !!!!
History proves that unknowns do very well. I think Taylor - after closecut fights against Pavlik and Hopkins - fears the unknown will do better.
Taylor gave a faded lacy a sound beating, yeah ! But he was floored !!!!!
Froch is a much better boxer and he would KO Taylor.

all di bella has to do is bid more than hennessey in a few days time when the fight goes to purse bids, then it is up to him what tv network, area/country the fight takes place.

if he does not bid enough then what is dumb , is that he is not putting his money where his mouth is.
