I don't think DiBella will do very well by Martinez. Chavez rematch is the only realistic big pay day he's going to get. And he will likely not get any more Barkers or Macklins approved by HBO (incoming DiBella rant for that one, if Martinez is still active). Martinez' options will probably be the hungry challengers after he's done with Chavez: Golovkin, Geale and Hassan.

I agree boxing is business but I also feel that boxers get into it to be the best! If you believe you are the best fighter why not prove it against the top contenders and solidify yourself as the best? Then again I'm not in the ring making a livin off taking punches...

Well, if they strip Sergio of his belt hungry Hassan would gladly unify the belts.;)

He's the real WBO champion after all.

One of those euro trash beat SS way more impressively than Geale. And Sturm's been running from GG for years, in fact the reason Sturm Geale was made was so Sturm could keep dodging the GG mandatory shot

That fight was easy for Martinez.. He was out boxing Junior for 11 rounds and got relaxed in the 12th and got caught..

You have to see where he's coming from. Martinez is 37 and has paid his dues, the guy deserves nothing but big money fights until he retires.

DiBella must be shitting his pants right now. He knows that HBO is all over Gennady.

Golovkin is coming for Martinez' head.
