DiBella also stupidly finishes up by saying something that doesn't bode very well for Sergio's image:

He meant 'it is like asking Ward to fight Klitscho. And that is not too wrong.

The problem is that they are as skilled as Martinez (although Ward is far more boring and negative, he is good at it)... so equally skilled ... the 'bigger' will be decisive.

Against Pavlik Sergio was smaller but better... against the top 168ers he wont have any advantage.

I like Lou sometimes - he seems to care for his fighters - but he's been spewing some serious BS lately. Sergio will be too drained at 150 (even though he walks at 158 and can apparently make 154 easy) but is far too small to fight SMW? Which is it, Lou? :-(

Dude, Sergio and Ward/Bute are separated by ONE weight class.

Only because Martinez is already went up to meet Pavlik.

Sergio is nowhere near a MW.

Yet he'd be "completely drained" at 150? :bart

He has offered 150 for a Pacman fight, remember? He obviously would prefer 152-154 which is his optimal weight.

    Far too 168 from there...

Dzin's a decent boxer. But he is a blown-up JMW.

 he would ignore Sergio's weight.

Oh and Darren Barker weighed in at 168 vs Sergio

He'd never get Pacquiao at 154 - NEVER. Mayweather maybe. However, I was referring to DiBella, who said that Sergio would have to "drain" himself to get a payday, but wouldn't pack on the pounds to fight Ward, Bute? :huh

(Not a Sergio hater - seems to be a lot of them around these days - but DiBella's logic is faulty...)
