I think Berto is rangier and hits harder than Hatton, but Ricky is smarter and may have better whiskers. Berto is fun to watch.

Berto is going to whoop Collazo worse than Mosley did.

About time Berto steps it up. I expect him to pass the test, barely. I expect the cards to be close.

Quite the contrary, Collazo has done quite well in his big fights. He took Rivera's belt from him in his hometown on 2-weeks notice and gave Ricky Hatton absolute fits in a fight that he could have easily won or at the very least, gotten a draw. That was supposed to be Hatton's US coming-out party but Collazo had other ideas.

No shame in losing to Shane Mosley so no need to even go there. Collazo lost to a HOFer. Plain and simple.

Collazo is the perfect fight for Berto's development. and imo the purses are about right.

Berto is my pick but i see the upset as a legit threat. I think Collazo will do better vs Berto than he did vs Mosley.

Definitely. In fact, Forbes is much slicker than Collazo. Forbes mixes in footwork with feints, head movement, and uses that shoulder roll defense to good effectiveness. Even Oscar was a bit perplexed by Forbes at certain points of their fight. The guy is very slippery and I think Berto learned a bit from fighting him.

Collazo's slickness is way overstated on this board. He is not that elusive. He was Mosley's punching bag for 12 rounds. His southpaw stance is his only real stylistic advantage, but he's not that hard to hit. He's most famous for getting robbed against Hatton and losing a shutout decision to Mosley. I scratch my head at why so many consider him a legit threat/contender at 147. He's on everyone's top 10 list at 147. I think he's way overrated. The guy is an above average journeyman at best. Berto will kill him. It will look like the Mosley fight all over..

i agree 1000%......he's a good contender, a good stepping stone but, he's not in the same class as Berto, his only advantage would be in experience......i dont see how anyone could watch Berto dominate Forbes then think Collazo could beat him, that just doesn't make since
