Here's the scenario:

1) Dawson turned down Diaconu for a bigger fight

2) Diaconu is turning down Johnson for a smaller fight

I understand what you're saying but its pointless.

Johnson hasn't made an offer to Diaconu, Diaconu offered Dawson over a million and put himself in the mandatory position to his title.

 

I'm not accusing Diaconu himself of ducking anyone. It's fine by me if he wants to take one easier fight and then move to Johnson, although in truth, he's not really that young. I'm just calling out his ridiculous fans, who now have to accept that Diaconu is doing the same thing they accused Dawson of doing.

Moreover, what Diaconu's people offered Dawson doesn't matter, given that Chad is moving to the much bigger fight.

But only a biased Dawson fan would compare what Dawson did to Diaconu and what Diaconu has supposedly done to Johnson.

Dawson did nothing to Diaconu except agree to fight him last fall, then vacate the mandatory bout in favor of a much better fight versus Tarver. People are trying to find a crime in there, but Dawson made the logical move.

Diaconu should fight Johnson, as it's obvious that Gankor has the money to make a big fight in Romania. A bout vs. Branco wouldn't prove anything.

Diaconu(because that is his name not Dicanuo)ain't ducking nobody,all his career everybody was ducking him:when he was 5-0 a fighter named Kai Kurzawa ducked him(Kurzawa was undefeated,look him up until 2002 or 2003),Dawson is been ducking him for 2 years now,Johnson never called out Diaconu,Henry never asked for a rematch,Johnson asked for a rematch with Dawson and the young ***** said NO and Diaconu is ducking???

 

Huh? What difference does that make? If you offered me $10 to fight and someone else offered $11 and I took it, would you go around talking **** that I didn't take the $10?

That's basically what you guys are saying when you reference Dawson's purse for a Diaconu fight.

 

Not necessarily a better action fight (although I suspect it will be), but a bigger and more meaningful bout for the sport.

It appears Diaconu's camp want to milk the belt a little before bringing in an opponent such as Johnson.
