    Very true what you are saying but when he was scheduled to fight Drews he ducked Diaconu,see?Before and after his injury prior to the september 07 fight Dawson wasn't gonna fight Diaconu not because he is scared cuz u can't call him scared but he knows a guy like Diaconu might KO him

    Dawson was signed to fight Diaconu on SHowtime on September 29th BUT two weeks before the fight Diaconu pulled out. So Dawson then fight Mendoza.

    Then Dawson decided not to fight Diaconu but set up a mega fight with Tarver so he fought a bigger name and better fighter in Glen Johnson on the same card as Tarver vs Woods. Both fighters won and now instead a fighting is madatory he's going with the bigger fight against the bigger name and the better fighter for more money.

    Mean while all Diaconu has ever done in his career was knock out an overrated bum in Rico Hoye and get a gift decision against Chris Henry.

    Thing is he can make the big events in Romania without the popular American names. In Romania, Diaconu fighting the #1 Italian light-heavyweight probably generates alot more money than fighting some fringe American contender

    Henry wasn't top ten UNTIL he was robbed vs Diaconu.

    Rubin Williams is the biggest name on Henry's record and he beat him AFTER the Diaconu fight.

    Dawson ducked DIaconu before he was champion to???:lol: Diaconu was a complete nobody until the Hoye fight and that was after Dawson beat Adamek.

    it takes alot more balls to fight a top-10 guy before he is recognized as one by the boxing public and still undefeated than after.

    WRONG:the decision was fairly corect and Henry was Ring Magazine no 10 contender and WBC no 2 before the Diaconu fight,now he is no 9 Ring and no 4 WBC

    Please Andyzor even had Henry winning the fight and he's probably the biggest Diaconu fan on this site.

    Yea he would have as he proved he was ready to fight anyone to get to the title. Not all fighters think "This guy is too good so i won't fight him". Something that you people seem to have gotten very used to.

    Henry was appointed by the WBC, it wasn't Diaconu who chose him. Diaconu would have fought anyone they appointed, end of story.
