Hopkins would make Tiger look bad. I love Tiger but this is a really bad matchup for him stylistically.

Tiger is one of my favorite fighters...but Hopkins would move on Tiger, and that movement would trouble Tiger. One thing that gets lost however is how versatile fighters were from that era...Tiger did a good job by boxing Jose Torres, using the jab and establishing movement himself...something he was definitely no known for...but capable of doing. So the fight would not be a gimme...and Hopkins' bully tactics wouldn't work against Dick Tiger...but the pick here is Hopkins.

Hopkins spoiling tactics wouldn't work in Dick Tigers era. He'd be forced to fight, and thus lose.

I've got to applaud Hopkin's longevity , but his competition at 160 was nothing special imo.
Tiger was fighting a better level of middleweight,Giardello,Carter,Hank ect they would all have given Hopkins very tough fights.

    Tiger by decision, too relentless.
