Who would win this battle of two great African Middleweights? 15 Rounds.

I like Tiger, just think he was too great at the weight, not much of an analysis, but i take him in this one everytime. Gunna be a fight though, so with that punch of Mugabi's who knows? But we're doing this at 160 right? Anyway, the Tiiger imo

Mugabi lands big bombs, but I think Tiger could absorb them and wear down Mugabi, much as hagler did. For a late round stoppage. But if Mugabi catches Tiger with a clean shot, it could very well go the other way. Mugabi hits at least as hard as Foster who dispatched Tiger with one blow.

I personally see this as a mismatch. Kind of odd that the posts thus far have it so close.

No way Mugabi hits as hard as Bob Foster.

    Tiger T/KO

This would have been a war of attrition, and as tough as a peak Mugabi was, I just can't see him getting the better of Tiger in that kind of battle. Tiger grinds him down, really does damage as the rounds progress, and stops him.

Well maybe not as Powerful as Foster. But Mugabi was a powerful puncher, who certianly had enough power to take out Tiger with a perfect blow. Much as like the one Foster landed against Tiger. I was just stating if the perfect opportunity presented itself. But in most likelyhood Tiger would not give Mugabi the opportunity & just keep the pressure on with inside fighting and wear down Mugabi. & the punches Mugabi would be able to land,( not the full force kind).Due to constant pressure from Tiger. Tiger would absorb these punches & keep fighting.

This would be Mugabi looking good for one or two rounds, hitting Tiger with some shockers, then Tiger getting down to business and hammering Mugabi for about six rounds down to a stoppage.

Tiger would grind him down and stop him sometime before the 10th round I reckon. If James Green was able to rock Mugabi as bad as he did courtesy of one left hook, then I don`t see how the significantly more powerful Tiger wouldn`t be able to do the same. The difference being though that when Tiger finally does get in that shot to put Mugabi onto ***** street he will get him out of there. Mugabi would probably do well for the first couple of rounds, but thats about as good as it is gonna get for him as Tiger will close the gap on him and bust him up in close, and after several rounds of that kind of infighting Mugabi will wilt under the pressure and get stopped.

Don't know... Tiger's chin was great, but he wasn't invulnerable.

LMAO @ the thought of Mugabi hitting as hard as Bob Foster.:rofl:rofl:rofl

Mugabi isnt even the biggest punching middleweight of all time. Whilst Foster is the biggest punching light heavyweight of all time.

Tiger grinds Mugabi down and stops him late. The Beast wasnt in Tiger's league.
