Dick Tiger is arguably the greatest fighter from the African continent...A two time middleweight and a light heavyweight division champion...He has been described as one of the strongest middleweights in boxing history...For this reason, I like Tiger's chances of victory against any middleweight who possesses an aggressive charging style...What if Tiger fought Marvin Johnson? The ultra aggressive light heavyweight southpaw from Indiana, who would fight in one direction...straight ahead...
15 rounds at light heavyweight. Who and why? Opinions please.

This is a tough matchup to call. Tiger twice beat Jose Torres, but both fights were extremely close and Torres was once a middleweight himself. The only other noteworthy light heavyweight he fought, Bob Foster, a huge light heavy, knocked him out early. I say the bigger man in Marvin Johnson wins this by UD , Tiger's chin holds up but would be beaten in a slugfest.

Marvin fought "great" somtimes, then sometimes got outhustled.

The Johnson of the Galindez fight would beat Tiger.
