That's a possible scenerio. It could also be a close fight in which one guy boxes better, but the other guys lands the harder punches, and it goes to a controversial decision (as a number of Tiger's fights with slick boxers did). And then, it's possible Tiger pulls a rabbit out of his hat, like he did against Benvenuti.
Pastrano uses that well known formula for beating Dick Tiger, the jab and move formula, like a master, and wins a comfortable 15 round decision, much like Joey Giardello did in '63.
Did not recall Tiger 'having to pull a rabbit out of his hat' in his fight with Benvenuti...He won the fight comfortably in spite of being at the end of his career against the middleweight champion. If Pastrano has actually trained, he'll take a decison IMO.
We're always assuming, in these hypothetical bouts here in Classic Forum that the versions of both fighters are represented at their best, and that would mean a disciplined, focused Willie Pastrano, who had, when at his best, an almost religious aversion to getting hit, and NEVER departed from his game plan. Few fighters could jab-jab-jab and move all night as well as Pastrano, again, when he was dedicated and focused...in other words, on his game, and that's the style which troubled and beat Dick Tiger.
