    Two brothers, Two styles.

One went the distance with Leonard. One went life and death with Arturo Gatti.

Who takes this in the battle of the brothers.

I love MIcky Ward, but I would favor Eklund that fought Leonard over 10 rounds. Eklund would be awkward enough to keep the stronger, Iron chinned Ward of balance for the majority of the fight. The longer the fight goes the more you have to favor Micky, if it was 15 I think Ward connects with his body shots and finishes Eklund.

It is a styles fight. Micky and his brother were actually quite the combo.

    Love it.

Ward was more proven (even in losing many times) at top level but Ecklund was bigger and more skilled as a boxer.

I think he mostly jabs and moves his way to a decision over 10.

The most likely way for Ward to win is by KO. But Eklund was never stopped, and generally did a good job of banking rounds, even when he was not in the best form. Most of his losses were split decisions against local favorites on their turf. Eklund didn't have much in the way of power but he was savvy enough to be able to keep Ward at a distance (Did anyone ever explain the concept of the jab to Mickey?). I think it would be Eklund by points.
