Now, had he not introduced his own religion into his comment I would've focussed on "the teachings of a filthy *******". But once a variable is introduced that may compromise the validity of the author's opinion, or the objectivity of the author's opinion comes into question, that variable must be explored.

Most Catholics, like Ty, have done absolutely nothing to hold their church to account for the conduct of its pedo priests and those within the hierachy that protected them. Maybe they should sort themselves out first before they start criticising other religions.

I don't care whether you say you practice or not; you identified yourself as part of that organisation. If you truly didn't consider yourself now to be a Catholic or did not support the Vatican you would've handed back your papers.

If your question is, "Would it be a better place if the planet was solely inhabited by 6 billion Jesus' or 6 billion Mohammeds', I'd say that Jesus lived the far more just and ethical life.

And it's obvious that Birchy was treating your spar for what it was, a spar and a bit of fun. You, on the other hand, considered it to be some sort of world title eliminator. If he'd wanted to there's no doubt that he could've turned it up and embarrassed you.

I guess you miss read what i wrote, you really shouldnt assume.

Because i was brought up in catholic schools etc i educated myself about what other religions study and teach after i left school, i found it fasanating at one stage in my life to study and it did consume me for some time, i was searching for the correct religion because i felt that if i had chosen the wrong one, according to what id been taught as a child i would be dammed to hell. I hope this clears that up for you. As for papers i dont know what your talking about, the only papers i have is for when i was baptised etc.

I agree with your second paragraph, i could talk about the faults in jesus however for a while, i belive he was a militant for example and you can find cases in the bible of such, upturning the money changers tables and becoming violent, one of his oppostles carried arms and loped the ear off one of the money changers, this was turned into a miracal by Jesus picking it back up and magic poof it was glued right back on like it never got chopped off LOL, talking snakes, people rising from the dead, people flying on winged things etc, its all really a bit to much for a rational person to belive and the evidence far outweights the support of otherwise.

I belive in evolution for example and according to the bible im not supposed to? lol I hope this touches a little on my views of religion, i am not someone who was brought up not beliving in God so i thought it important that i did point out i am a roman catholic, i was baptised at birth as such.

As for Birchy, yes im having fun with him also, i didnt appreciate him giving my number to leb thugs then calling 2 min after they do claiming it wasnt him, yet i can hear them in the background and when i tell him this he admits yes it was him.

Birchy has a tone more boxing achivments than me, i never said otherwise, read back a few posts i mention he was a sparring partner for KT and a very experianced and accomplished boxer. He is also a really good bloke, unfortunatly he has his head in the sand with this one and someone elses hand up his azz.
