i really never took your challenge at Crewfighter seriouse because in all honesty who the hell would? you never told anyone who you were and the criteria for being matched is to confirm who everyone is so everyone is equally matched.

If we all tried to pull a Johnny Boy you could have guys like Alex Leapis brother turning up to punch **** out of someone like Bobby Sinn. It didnt work like that, Birchy never hid under an alias he was up front from day 1 and it was matched, i took it seriouse as Birchy is experianced, way more than i am and has a tone more achivements, it was a daunting task on the backdrop of people claiming it to be a missmatch, get an ambulance ready, TC cant box, has no chin blah blah blah.

I've sparred 3 state champions, a 3 time olympian and sevral professionals...I loved sparring.

2 time olympian...great bloke. Right time right place when I sparred him.
There were 3 off us rotating with him, 3 rounds at a time. Got 6 rounds and did ok.

You were happy to spar Birchy because you both agreed that you would not go hard against one another. You've said that even though you two were winding one another up online, it was just in promotion of the event and that there would be no malice in the ring. In our case though, you didn't know who I was and believed that I was somebody who you slagged off online and was going to lay my vengeance upon thee. There's a big difference going in knowing that you're it's a normal spar as opposed to not knowing whether your opponent will try to legally to take your head off for being a smart ****.

And when the spar was set up, there was no criteria for me to give up my name for you to agree. You asked for some details, such as size, age and experience, which I gave. I posted these and also rang Lowy who was matching the fights. After we spoke, Lowy posted that I had telephoned him, was legit and that we were now matched.

well I have sparred a few well credentialed fighters as well but I would never have got in with tyson because for him sparring wasn't about looking after you it was trying to Ko you, so would you have sparred him
