Did Alexander mention quitting mid fight against Matthysse?

    I watched the fight on some live stream and I could have sworn that one of the commentators said that Devon Alexander said to his corner during the end of one of the later rounds that if they want to pull him out of the fight they can; or something along those lines.

    Did anyone else hear that?

    To be fair, the same commentator who said that, also compared Austin to Ali and then later said Arguello was from Argentina.

    i had the commentary turned off, Alexander didnt look like he wanted to quit so I doubt he said it but Im not desputing the commentator did not say this as i've heard commentators come out with some complete bollocks over the years
