I wanted to give Alexander the benefit of the doubt. But after seeing him fine just a few minutes later, yeah, he quit. He could have taken the 5 minutes to recover. Maybe being a young undefeated fighter, he didn't know how to handle being in a losing effort situation. Hope he can bounce back and show more heart.

Yes, Alexander quit, no doubt about it. Kotelnik beat him, I guess he thought the judges would give him a gift against Bradley like they did in the Kotelnik fight! However, Bradley is not European.

I think he did. The doctor was giving him every chance to show that he was fine to continue and he just kept moaning about the pain, acting like he didn't want to go on. I'm sure it did hurt but he was perfectly fine afterwards.

He quit. No doubt about it. He was looking for a way out. He had bad cuts and I don't blame him for being pissed off. But he needed an excuse to why he was about to lose, and he found it.

Pretty obvious he felt he was losing and couldnt do anything to win at that point so he took the opportunity to get off the hook of any more punishment.

maybe his superior talent kept him from ever having to dig deep down against someone his equal
to me at least, he clearly quit
hes still young enough to bounce back though
i hope so, hes a promising talent

He quit or more respectfully didn't want to fight on. He had zero gameplan in the final analysis, wasn't as quick or skilful as lauded and didn't have enough pop in his punches to deter Bradley's relentless style.

Bradley's use of his head was and will continue to be questionable, but Alexander's lack of grit and determination on the night was unacceptable.
