You really aren't a boxing fan at all are you? You have no respect for, or understanding of this sport at all with comments like that. I am not a Khan fan and normally comments from trolls like you don't get me riled, but that annoyed me. Please depart.
Not all his shots are like that, I did'nt mean it to come across that way, but he does have a tendency to that imo, and it could become more apparent against Bradley because of his good upperbodymovement, but the ironic thing is, Bradley has a tendency to do the same thing, throw punches that are not effective, but look effective. He was. Agree, I think the plan against Barrera, was too keep him the middle, utilize the speed, dont commit to his punches, put them together. Since Roach took over Khan, that seems to be the first thing he did, get Amir to stop committing to his punches as much, to use speed to disorganize rather than hurt the opponent, then move. I respectfully disagree, I think he is one dimensional, its just hard to negate what he does, when he has the right instructions, sticks to utilizing his assets. Khan is a good rhythm fighter when he gets into his long range boxing though, like that bodyshot he landed on Maidana was pure quality.
I think Maidanas clumsy footwork had more to do with fatigue than being hurt from that shot from Khan.
Certainly hurt a little, but not enough for Maidana to stop marching forward. A little early to be calling Khan 1 dimensional, the guy still has a lot of development left.
IMO he clearly wobbled a bit,or staggered..whatever you wanna call it but he was alil hurt by that punch. Maidana recovers quick, true warrior.
If you watch all of Round 11, you'll see that that combination did slow him down, so much that the commentator spoke about it as well. Khan came back like a lion protecting its cub in Round 11.
khan did hurt him, maidana has a good chin not a great one, he's like miguel cotto he can put on a good poker face.
