Yeah not going to come over well with who? I haven't seen one word about Haroon switching to Pakistan since it happened. Fair play to him he might as well try and make a name for himself with his own amateur career rather than live off Amir's name when he turns pro.

Haroon's win today

He can fight for whoever he wants, He wanted to fight for Britian but they said no so he then had chosen to box for the country of his heritage. Lennox Lewis boxed for Canada not the UK at the Olympics.

I don't think he had to qualify for Pakistan.

 

I think i read somewhere a few weeks ago that when the selectors saw him train they signed him up straight away.

He was announced before his fight as Haroon Iqbal...so dont know if hes trying to avoid his brothers shadow, or maybe they use different parts of there names in Pakistan.
