    Why would Maidana lie?

Why should he rematch Maidana? He won. It was close but he clearly one. There are two fighters out there that clearly need to rematch Maidana. One of them clearly loss yet, he's considered a prime challenge to a ATG.

Rematching Maidana > fighting a Morales who shouldn't even be boxing no more

Why all the great need for rematches against opponants with BIG power? Its obvious why people like Prescott and Maidana want rematches but these Khan hating boxing fans are just dying to see him get knocked out.

I dont hear any calls for a McClosky rematch or a Malinaggi rematches. I wonder why.

Because the fights against McCloskey and Malignaggi weren't close at all, and he certainly didn't lose those fights.
    Clear difference.

yeah...they would enforce such a match up after he just went to war with the guy.....the same WBA that will allow povetkin to face a 49 year old unranked heavyweight but yet they had to be talked out of a rematch of 2 of the top guys....
    :rofl haters

Nope... I was responding to the guy why it is such a clear difference.
I don't have to see him fight Prescott again either, but Maidana is very relevant. And it was the "fight of the year 2010"

bull****. No letter was ever written, just another ploy to try and put pressure on Khan for the rematch.

Maidana should rematch Morales first, then call for his own attempt.

Why are some so against the rematch? I don't care either way to be honest, but what's the problem with the rematch, I guess I'm missing something here?
