No news from him for more than 1 year except he wanted to fight some drunk he found in the local pub, i think Pavlik was his name. Did he retired? He'd better, nobody want to see him fight mummies, drunks and vegetables again and again in Oakland. Man up and fight some undefeated elite opponent away from home or take your homie Dirrell example and retire already !

    The grammar needs some work.....but.....

The man is 100% right. Ward is becoming a joke.

    Ward needs to
    a) get a passport
    b) move up to 175lb
    c) get his face caved in by cleverly

There's no one left for him to fight

Froch only wants to rig the result in the uk
And ward beat the top guy at the weight class above him
    Hopkins don't want it

Ward wants a fight with JCC or with 3G @ 168 to cash in. Anyway fighters aren't so interested about him anymore. He'll end like Andre Dirrell if he don't take Froch in UK , Kesssler in Denmark or Stevenson in Canada. :yep

p.s Kessler fought Ward in Oakland when Ward was an unknown prospect and Kessler the WBA champ and the biggest draw at SMW !
    :yep

    Ward needs to travel !

:deal Pretty much what this guy said there's not much left for him. Although an improved Carl Froch in England would be spicy, especially with 60,000 Brits going crazy, the atmosphere would be intense. Ward would have to deal with the crowd, the judges and a demonic version of Froch looking to go out style in probably his last ever fight. :firedevi:

And unlike most American's Ward actually does possess a passport! Spotted him commenting for HBO at Froch v Keseller 2 in London. So he can't use that excuse. Would love to see it.

  11. I don't believe he comes back.

Dawson's no longer the top guy at 175, and let's be clear, Ward refused to fight him at that weight or even one in the middle.

Kessler was no champ, neither was froch
the reason why all fighters agreed to this tournament is because calzaghe retired and so the winner of this tournament would be the undisputed SMW champ, as calzaghe was

people saying ward has to travel are looking for excuses just because Europeans have mostly dominated this relatively new division

ward's fighting on the biggest stage available
