Did Andre Ward squander his prime, or did he pretty much beat all his rivals

He threw away his career after pretty much reaching the top

    1. A tired Froch who travelled the world in this tournament, and fighted all the original lineup, unlike Ward who stay home and fighted bums like Green and Bika
    2. An injured Kessler, and Ward needed all the help he could get from his pall Jack Reiss. Let's not forget Ward was medicated by Victor Conte for that fight so he was more than likely roided tot the teeth
    3. A small mw who only fighted 3 times at smw and lost 2 in a row. Ward's win was his 3rd lost in a row at smw
    4. a dehydrated mummy who got ktfo in 30 secconds by Stevenson at his natural weight. Ward was scared to fight that bum at 175, it was hilarious how him and his fans demanded 168 because Dawson claimed he can make that weight in the ring, for a post fight interview

pretty damn awesome indeed, the guy is the biggest fraud in boxing right now

    Bit of both, OP.

His prime? He cleaned up at the S6 tournament, but really dropped the ball when he never capitalised on that momentum by moving up (daring to be great?) and replicating that (or trying to) at 175 instead of making guys like Chad come down in weight.

But he really has dropped the ball in the last few years.

Wanting $2M's to face Paul Smith?:lol::nut

He seem's content, but if he found the fire he had around the time of the S6 and took that to 175 now, he'd be dangerous as hell.

I feel that Ward is his own biggest fan though and just cannot be told/has a brat attitude that is harming his career. He's definitely been backed into a corner with this move to 175, IMO.

He should have cleaned SMW up after the S6, although he never did. Instead he rather fought in court against the man that handed him the best deals he could possibly get.

Now he had to move up to LHW at a time that LHW is actually hot, instead of the wasteland it was back in 2011/'12.

    Look at this as.s-kissing trick.

At least he had the ***** to move up....something Gigi doesn't have.

Brace yourself for Ward beating Kovalev because that is exactly what will happen.:deal

Ward did not clean out SMW, and therefore he did not beat all his rivals.

Undefeated Lucian Bute, Andre Dirrell, undefeated George Groves, James DeGale...

Ward has never fought an opponent who could box.

    Yes and no.

He achieved a lot in a short space of time, but he could have achieved a lot more. He would still be having to move up and face Kovalev at some point however.

He ducked Golovkin and moved up in weight so that he didn't have to fight him, how sad.
