Did any boxers from the past punch harder than McGregor even if they were from a lighter weight?

How can others be compared to Connors only boxing fight where it looked like he couldn't crack an egg against a retired midget.

 

I think it's safe to say Floyd would walk through Naseems shots with ease too.

McGregor is realistically at minimum a natural 147lber, possibly even 154lber

Many boxers less than a natural 147 both past and present hit harder than he does.

Pacman is an obvious choice so is DSG and Crawford. They are just to name a few.

Who would he the smallest guy I don't know.

 

Conor's punching power looked pathetic in the Mayweather fight. Seriously Floyd was walking him down from the first second.

 

He was throwing arm punches and that was the problem.

Not forgetting punching in MMA will always look more powerful simply because the gloves are smaller. If boxers used smaller gloves you would see brutal ko's.

 

To paraphrase Nate Diaz: "You lost to a midget in your only pro Boxing contest and you're all pumped up."

Lol it was probably the best line of the entire buildup to their first fight.

And then there Nate's opening four-word salvo in his post-fight interview after he finished McGregor, which goes down as one of the greatest post-fight quotes in UFC history.
