Did any other Americans not care about this fight at first, but now do?

When I first heard about this fight, I was sort of indifferent. I knew it was an important fight and all, but I hadn't really seen much of Joe and Kes and it was entirely a Euro fight. This was a while ago, when the fight was in its 50 year negotation period.

But there was so much talk on this board that I figured what the hell, and got a hold of 16 Kessler fights and several Joe fights. After that, I saw that both the fighters were great, and combined with all the talk on this board, I am REALLY excited about the fight :good

I think most Americans realise this is an important and exciting fight. Which is saying quite a lot considering it's at 168 (which few Americans care about) and between 2 Euros.

I think Kessler has a 65% chance to win, but only because of Joes age. If Joe fights like he's 25, then I think he has the 65% chance :boxing2

I've dreamt once about it and Calzaghe gets starched in the 2nd. Afterwards Amir Khan comes in the ring to shake Kesslers hand and looks down on Calzaghe calling i#him a fraud......................wtf??

2 nights later I dreamt that Dunne gets starched in 1 by Martinez. Look what happened there.:nut

I cared about the fight when I first saw that they were highly regarded and both being undefeated helps, but when all of the Euro/ U.S. b.s stuff is put aside because I really don't care where a fighter comes from as long as he or she entertains me. Calzaghe will be victorious when its all over, but I would be more thrilled at an upset.
