Urango's eyes were all over the place he would have gone right back down again in that same round. Good stoppage.

I don't have a problem with the stoppage. Those were heavy knockdowns and, even though he beat the count, his eyes weren't really there.

Disputable stoppage, but not a horrible one. On one hand you have Urango who was up on his feet and showed great recovery in his last fight vs. Bailey after a heavy knockdown, on the other hand, Alexander had him down moments after the 1st KD, there was too much speed and accuracy.

I think there would've been a 3rd KD to end the fight anyway, but since Estevez stopped it, you can call it slight premature.

Premature. He beat the count and could have made it to the bell. Premature

No it was not. But given it was a unification fight i see why alot of people could think it was. but he was hurt and the ending would of been the same . why prolong the beating and have him take more punishment. he was done for. at least he didn't pull an Ortiz

Urango was done...All you had to do was look into his eyes...He looked like a drunk saying they still could have another drink, and drive.

Way to early . you ****ing piece of ****. he was pratically out on his feet. would you be happier if you got 30 more seconds of action just so Urango could potentiall go in toa coma while in his dressing room?

this was a good example of a ref saving a fighter from himself. good stoopage .and a great win for alexander

Perhaps it was slightly premature, but I still don't have a problem with the stoppage. The writing was on the wall at that point.

Urango was done. I always give credit to the guy who gets up after being put down, and I always scream premature stoppage when I see it. I did not see what a hurt Urango who kept getting caught could do to a strong and sober Alexander who seemed to be getting stronger as the fight went on... Good stoppage!
