    What were your impressions?

This is a guy I've been really interested in since he is from Texas and appears to have great ability and potential. I believe he is ready to take on bigger names at HW. Just wondering what you fellas thought.

I can't post the link to a full fight. So, search "Rodriguez vs Dyer" on YouTube and check it out. This was on the Holyfield undercard from Saturday.

Saw the fight and I'm still not sure what to think of him at this point. That was my first time seeing him so I was interested in this fight. The problem was that Dyer was so poor that it's really hard to gauge anything off this fight. His handspeed looked good but I'm not sure if that was because Dyer was so slow. He did seem to go for the finish when he had his man hurt which is a positive. Unfortunatly, this fight really made it near impossible to tell anything.

This fight didn't really tell us much about Rodriguez. I agree with the commentary guy, John Ruiz or Sergei Lyakovich, somebody like that is needed to show what Rodriguez is all about. If somebody wanted transantlantic action he could fight Bidenko or Dimitrenko or if he wanted to go native maybe Welliver could test him.

He has potential to be a heavyweight contender, but he needs to and be willing to improve

He could beat: Javier Mora 21-4-1 (17 ko's)
    Saul Montana 48-14 (42 ko's)

But i will like to see him fight Cristobal Arreola
