    That was Ocean's Eleven.

I was actually impressed with Lewis' insight in this fight. They were spot on.

In one instance he said something like "Buddy McGirt better tell Rahman to work on his defense because I see a left hook coming from Vitali." Klit threw 3 of them about two seconds after.

If you root for him you will be happy he won.

Any true Wlad fan... or even boxing fan without bias couldn't be disappointed in Wlad tonight. How the hell can you be disappointed that he just completely whitewashed Hasim Rahman, and then stopped him? Nobody even mentions the fact that Wlad dropped Rahman on a ****in' triple left hook. A TRIPLE left hook from a 6'7" 245 lb fighter!

I knew wholeheartedly he would win, 100%.

Rahman does not pose a difficult task for Wladimir at this point, Wladimir picks him apart each and every time with relative ease. What I was looking for was a highlight- reel knockout, which he would've basically produced had he stepped up the pace in the 6th round when he had Rahman on the ropes. He always said he would like to develop his offensive game, throw hooks and uppercuts, use angles if you will... this was an obvious chance to just wreck Rahman with all sorts of punches from all angles.

Still, it was a win.. but I was more impressed with his win over Thompson, where he actually had to think and use angles to win.

Behave, I was looking for an improvement from Wladimir.

He's still a great boxer and a true champion.. is it wrong to be disappointed due to the fact that he did not step on the pedal earlier? :verysad

I guess you that wanted Wlad to pull out his dick and hit Rahman with it? Because obviously the triple left hook on the knockdown wasn't impressive enough.

Some of the things he did was impressive, but I didn't like how he had Rahman on the ropes for 2 minutes in the sixth, and when he entered hooks/uppercuts range, he clinched Hasim with his arms over Rahmans head/back.

Please behave yourself.. like I said, I really like Wladimir.. I just want the best for him, tonight was good, but not his best night, IMHO.

That is because Rahman ducked under, and up underneathe him. I don't think that Wlad has his titty hook down pat yet, so he probably didn't want to show his entire game. Good lord man... you clearly aren't a fan.

Constructive criticism man, how come you can't accept that a fan can be a critic aswell?

I am a huge fan of Wlad whether you want it or not, I think he's the best heavyweight today (better than his older brother). And I am not going to celebrate his every win like it was the greatest win ever.

He did his job, he did a pretty good job but I wanted more of him, especially in the sixth, period.

I think people just want to see him commit more to aggressive attacks.

    People think a fight should

    A) Be very competitive

    or

    B) Be over quickly.

I have a certain amount of sympathy with that view - if he had opened up, he could have stopped his man in 3, for example - but the bottom line is he's hugely affective and until somebody can come along and force him out of his comfort zone, he has every right to remain there. Fans shouldn't ***** about that IMO. "Hit without being hit".

My favorite heavyweight was Lamon Brewster before Buddy McGirt ruined him. I was the first to congratulate Wladimir on his win over Brewster and I ate my crow big time... but at the end of the day, I am happy that it was Wladimir who beat Brewster, and not some lack lustre loudmouth like Haye.

    Some questions for you.

What is the goal or objective of the fight ?

Did Wlad look at any point like he might lose the fight ?

Did Wlad look at any point like he might lose a round ?

Final result, a dominant one-sided beat-down ending in mid rounds stoppage.

It is sweet science, but he could've made it look sweeter, shall we say.
He's talked in the past about how he wants to put on better shows for the people coming out supporting him, and I honestly believe he wants to!

Tonight was a good win for Wladimir, but in the sixth, I just wanted more.... I don't know if that is unfair, but I wanted more..

    To win

Did Wlad look at any point like he might lose the fight ?
Nope, and it looked very impressive up till the sixth round, where he could've used more angles and hooked off the jab more when Rahman was helpless on the ropes.

Did Wlad look at any point like he might lose a round ?
He didn't, it was a dominant win.. as we all predicted.

At the end of the day he was dominant, but he could of done it more impressive I guess.

He could be more aggressive, but what would people be saying about him right now if he had got knocked out by this fighter? He is worried about his punch resistance so he boxes safety first.

I'm a fan of his fights, because I honestly think he can be stopped, which is exciting, and meanwhile he just boxes so beautifully, I could honesty watch boxing like that every day of the week. His right hand at the back of that jab is lazer guided, he actually lands it on the site of the jab. It's great to watch for me.
