Did anyone else have Pascal beating Froch or a draw?

I felt scorecards were too wide. But i agree with the decision.

 

I had it 114-114.

But no chance for Pascal to get a decision in Germany.

 

Froch won,by 1 rd,that close.Come on, even Pascal said he didn`t win and he looked disapointed as the at the end of the fight.

 

Try watching it again sober.Froch won by at least 4

 

I agree exactly with what Pascal said after the fight. The right person won, but the margin was a bit wide. On two cards at least.

 

i had it 116-112 for Froch. I'm from Montreal and I had a bet riding on Pascal

A Pascal victory would have been a robbery and a draw would have been very surprising and a huge stretch

 

This was what I had it at as well. 116-112 or 117-111. Pascal gave an excellent accounting of himself and was in the rounds, I just felt Froch had more control of the fight, landed the harder blows, didn't really get bothered much by Pascal's shots and was dictating the action a bit more than Pascal.

 

Pascal started very strong but I think after the 5th or 6th, can't remember which one, it was pretty much going Froch's way. Pascal looked like he was just hanging on at certain points. Froch had him stunned at times. Also, Froch had the much cleaner fight, Pascal was clinching and ducking a bit too much. He's also lucky not to have got into trouble for hitting Froch with a flurry after the bell during the early stages!

Don't want to start a battle in this thread, but this is pretty much why Calzaghe gets his decisions.

 

Pascal winning?! He said himself that the right man won. It was even up to the halfway point but Froch edged it by a few in the late rounds.

 

Froch didn't land the harder punches in that fight. He landed more.. but the harder punches came from Pascal.

 

I thought Froch won.Pascal said himself Froch deserved it.But the coes were a bit to wide.

 

Id disagree there. I would say Pascal landed the cleaner punches, but Froch landed the harder ones. He didn't have to hit Pascal with much to make his legs stiffen. Pascal hit Froch very flush and did little damage.
