Well, against hopkins it was due to this. Against lacy, jones etc he was clearly winning.

In close fights such as last nights, its my personal opinion to give the cleaner punches more credit. Hopkins was landing fewer cleaner shots than pascal was. Pascal DID take some breathers, and i gave these rounds to froch due to his work rate. But when a fighter throws in volume and is hitting shoulders and arms and is being countered i think he should lose these rounds.

Pascal wasn't anywhere near a draw never mind a win. Froch won about 8 rounds to 4, 7 to 5 if you're really generous.

This is a better way to say things than what I said about Froch landing the harder shots. What I should have said was that Froch's shots had more of an effect on Pascal than vice versa. That may have had more to do with Froch's beard than who was landing the harder blows, however, as DaveyScan was alluding to above.

Nah it was very close early on but Froch pulled away. There's no value in trying to discredit his victory here by screaming foul play...

The score cards were wacked, but the right guy got the nod. I think there is a reason for the wacked out score cards, and it has to do with many judges be incompetant rather than a particular bias. I've noticed that when fighters roll with punches, rather than slipping or blocking, judges tend to give the other guy the same credit they would if the punches landed clean and flush.

I had Froch by 2 points. Good action, but I'm generally dissapointed with both fighters. They were on a low level, even for a paper title fight.

My opinion is that it was a competive, thrilling fight and both guys deserve a lot of praise, but Froch was the clear winner and anyone who suggests otherwise is blind or stupid. Sorry, but I'm just in a bad mood and can't tolorate bull**** today. Blame Pacquiao.

the fight was a good one but i have to agree with the judges for the result of the winner although i had it closer.
