Did anyone else hear Roy mocking the quality of Wlad's chin

    Roy said something along the lines "Everyone knows Wladimirs chin is weak, it has been well known for a long time" and you could hear Kellerman and Lampley bite on their tongue.

    I mean seriously, how does Roy dare to analyze the quality of another fighters chin? :rofl

    I'm glad he said it because somebody in that HBO booth had to.

    Jones it turned out had a bad chin himself, but that should'nt keep an analyst from biting his tongue and keeping his mouth shut.
    At least Roy did'nt initiate a clinch every time he threw a punch.

    What does the quality of Roys chin have to do with him stating what he feels is the truth?


    If he thinks, as many do, that Wlads chin is weak, he should not state it because his is weak as well?


    Strange logic.


    In that case, no commentator or writer (or forum poster) should judge any trait of any fighter, since the fighters trait they are judging is probably leagues better then said trait of the commentator, poster, ect.

    I like Roy as a fighter and a commentator. My dream team would be Roy, Paulie, and Max Kellermen. Max would keep Roy and Paulie from getting too off-track as far as time constants 'n such go.


    That being said... Roy should still be able to say Wlad has kinda a weak chin.. would you rather him of not said anything about it? Would he had done his job as a commentator better then... or worse?

    Yeah I did... Roid shouldn't be talking, at least Wlad hasn't been knocked out cold like Roy has. Roy has been utterly annihilated several times!!

    Oh I am not allowed to say I found it cringe-worthy how Roy for the 100th time mentions how weak Wlad's chin is? Right after Wlad's loss to Brewster Roy's comment was "Now the secret is out, everyone's got the blueprint to beat him now. His chin is his Achilles heel".

    Incidentally that was the last time Wlad lost, some 10 years ago. And Mr. Glasshim himself still has the balls to keep reiterating the same old, every single time he is asked about Wlad. And then last night: out of three HBO commentators it had to be Mr. Glasschin - not Kellerman, not Lampley - who talks about Wlad's soft chin? It just felt so wrong.

    And who the **** are you to tell me when I can voice my opinion?

    Good thing Roy never stepped in with Wlad.... that Wlad was an offensive powerhouse and never held back, he would have shattered roids glass jaw into a billion pieces :lol:

    Who the **** are you to say Roy(An all-time great professional and amateur boxer) isn't allowed to say whatever he wants?. Before questioning someone like RJJ's legitimacy when it comes to opinion look at the damn mirror and look properly for a change.

    That was a joke. By the way, Jones was KO'd in Moscow. Kellerman's historical refferences are at times way off too. HBO used to have a great team. Only Lampley and Letterman remain.
