Not surprised. Loma had it in the bag. No point in injuring/re-injuring your hands.

Eubank sir told his son to target Blackwells body as he feared Blackwell was taking too much punishment which turned out to be true

There's a difference between the corner telling their fighter to stop loading up, going for the KO vs stop throwing hard punches for other reasons. Loma's father when Loma is in control of the fight always wants Loma to start pulling out tricks and wowing the fans.

Russ Anber (in Lomachencko's corner) kept saying it to Lemieux also in different fights. GGG is one boxer that doesn't try to go for the KO in about 90% of the shots he throws. His pacing is in an other league.

It could also be a pacing issue. Loma lost to Salido but came on very strong in the last 4 rounds. He looked as if he wasn't completely confident in his stamina to go the full 12.

When you're in the corner of a guy who has so little experience of losing, I can understand getting caught up in one defeat and being unable to see the forrest for the trees.

Loma is going to beat anyone 130 <

    :roto2lol:

That guy is trying to argue that asking someone to tone it down on power is an amazing piece of advise.

Didn't notice it but he may have brittle hands. He fought 1/2 the Pirapinya(sp?) with 1 hand maybe afraid of an injury or reinjuring his hand.

It has to do with past hand issues like some of you have stated.
