Did anyone else notice the long 1st round on GGG vs. geale

Actually, the only relevant point on this that the extra minute pushed the 3rd round time wise into the 4th round
Technically it was 4th round TKO

 

I'm not so sure. A mistake is a few seconds either way, but a full minute? :huh
It's not like it's a hard job to do...

 

It's not a hard job to do but mistakes can slip through. Why would they extend the first round anyway?, it's not like GGG was making history or fighting a super high caliber opponent to require corruption on his side.

I remember HBO flashing 8 second left in the round, then it went on forever. WTF. how hard is it to time keep. total BS

 

While I was watching I said to myself "Self, this round sure is going long", and I noticed the clock in the lower half of the screen was gone, so I knew something was wrong, but a 4 minute round? Really lame on the timekeepers part. The ref should have noticed too, these lifetime boxing people have 3 minute intervals timed in their heads
