I’m not sure if it’s a famous “robbery” or well known to be controversial but I saw that fight, I thought Medina won’t it quite convincingly between the two feather dusters. I’ll reconsider my card and rewatch if I get enough push back, I thought the whole fight Medina didn’t look in any trouble and was just doing his jerky routine and neutralised JT quite well. I’d enjoy hearing the forums opinion. This content is protected
Do people still dislike Hamed? - Medina is a very, very good win by PH and to stop him no less would take a lot of skill and power, Medina is a little Mexican Muhammad Ali who was incredibly durable, incredibly but also had a negative style and a great ability to roll with blows he was called “Elastic” by an opponent because of his way in how he absorbed shots,
Tapia got an obvious gifts, even with the stronger blows he got outworked too hard to steal crucial rounds. I don't like seeing Tapia like that, slow as molasses.
I didn’t like seeing Medina who’d been working hard at being a pro since he was a teenager get robbed so badly.
You should watch his first fight vs Scott Harrison that was considered a bit of an upset at that time. It was scored a split decision but i thought Medina won it wide they tried to rob Medina in that one.
