Did Anyone Ever Think Of The Idea That Pavlik's Delays Could Have To Do With Weight?

    Maybe He Just Couldnt Make 160 comfortably at this point.... everyone has been saying a move up to 168 is past due... i honestly dont know his weight situations but it sounds plausible if he was ever having issues with weight

    Could be.

    But he was having problems making 160 all the time.He's real big for a MW.

    hmm never though of that. although I'd think the staph infection on his hand was still a problem

    as I remember seeing a picture of it during one of the Williams/Pavlik pressers (where both were wearing New York Giants jerseys)

    but Kelly is big for 160, and it wouldn't surprise me if he was having troubles getting the weight down

    Honestly, i think he probably hasn't recovered from the infection and/or whatever damage its done to his hand. I don't blame his team for that in anyway, but you could argue it was irresponsible to be signing a fight date when he couldn't clench a fist, thats pretty fundamental in this sport (insert Joe Calzaghe joke). Thats where the question marks are.

    i seen this picture.... months ago the doctor cleared him and now he cant go.

    im not dismissing the fact that his hand is ****ed up..which obviously it is here and there

    but im just saying if he was having weight issues... it would be a perfect excuses to get out....

    no its because he is terrified of PW. Because PW is the greatest fighter thats ever lived.

    The dr.'s have cleared him of having a staph infection. He has had two surgeries since then. This is post-surgery stuff. His weight is fine/ normal.

    Jesus that looks bad:-( looks like he got bit by a spider or something with a lot of poison:-(..
    From the way the hand looks he probaly won't fight for at least 6 months...
