Did anyone feel that Brandon Rios intentionally fought with LESS intensity???...

    In order to secure a 3rd fight with Alvarado? I'm not saying the fight was fake hehe. Obviously these guys beat the **** out of each other, but people do crazy things for money. I would have bet money that Rios was going to destroy this guy just like the 1st fight. Anything seem fishy to people? How fast Rios raised his three fingers to call out another fight? The way he came on camera instantly promoting a 3rd fight? Or how about that hilarious Freudian slip he had when he said, "they wanted a third fight!" at the post fight interview. :lol::lol:

    I don't think its stupid at all. Rios came away from the ring like any other night of work for him. He takes shots on the chin for fun, and he probably does the same thing in training/sparring as many guys with chins like that do day in, and day out in the gym. He got hit hard, but hes going to get paid well in the 3rd fight. Alvarado on the other hand, had his face turn upside down from a minimal quantity of punches. Rios will KO Alvarado dominantly in the 3rd fight imo.

    After Rios got hurt he didn't look the same in the fight, nothing to do with securing a 3rd fight

    I don't even see how that can be suggested, did you not see how fast he came out? Hurting Alvarado early. He then started taking heavy shots himself, getting hurt in return. Once Alvarado found a home for that right hand, Rios neglected/was forced to neglect his jab and this was why his work became less intense. Nothing to do with a third bout, he was just beaten fair and square. No matter how good your chin is, you can't keep walking through shots all night, and your brain will not allow you to, even if you want to.

    No. Alvarado just employed movement and a jab and didn't stand in a phone booth this time around.
