It was alright. Wouldn't put him on Wlad's level of boredom but he was running a bit too much.

I agree it was no boxing lesson just a well tempered performance, which considering what was at stake e.g the title and even Amir Khans career in the pro game. I think he played the game the right way.

This is actually a pretty early dinner for my good self. Tonight its mashed potato with too much butter, a mini mince beef & onion pie & a tin of HP beans.
Nothing better than making the dinner, scoffing some cold beer/cider & having a good 'ol debate on ESB at the very same time:good

Now you have a good nights sleep Guy.

& why dont you, if you dont mind me asking?

IMO, Arthur will be better now that hes moved up, & dont forget, Arthur been there & done that as far as training at Freddies place goes.

Arthur would be a live underdog, thats all I am saying.

it was a bit boring because almost none of Khans punches were landing clean but that was pure because the guys gloves were glued to his face. Against another fighter, those nice hit and move tactics would have looked better as he would have landed more. It probably would have been a joy to watch considering the how many punches he was throwing.

I dont even think he would be in all honesty. I just see Khan having too much of everything (barring power at the moment). I honestly do believe Arthur to be very very overrated

Im in full agreement with Dunky (he's getting a lot of uncalled for criticism on this thread imo)

That as a main event was disgraceful. If it was an ITV card then fair enough but it was on PPV and Dunky has as much right as anyone to vent his frustration at what was a clone of Khan v Gairy St Claire.

I actually had a few pc problems at the weekend and couldnt use my usuall streams so I paid and I feel ripped off. :(

:yikes That is a ridiculous statement. So because Warren wants to fleece the fans then Amir should throw caution to the wind, ruin his chances of fulfilling his dream and stick his suspect chin in front of some punches and get knocked out ??? Get a grip Kerr

C'mon lads it was a very good performance and Khan's getting too much unfiar criticism. The fact that Khans chin is so suspect will probably provide me with enough entertainment for most of his fights.
Palmer I noticed (as myself) that you love Floyd Jnr and went to Peacocks to see him. Well he's put on far more defensive minded showings and got on the back foot more than Khan did and his chin is very good and his defense is better. Just pure hate.

You missing the point completely Dan. Khan is not a PPV fighter (nowhere near it) and people are gonna criticise his fights if they are not entertained. It is all about the enterainment afterall.

PBF is a different league, his skills are a pleasure to watch whereas Khan was just hitting and running against a relatively slow opponent.

Spot on analysis, most of Khans punches would not have scored in an amateur fight. They were pitta patta girly punches landing on the gloves. I would rather watch those WWE Divas fight than watch this version of Khan (even if it was free to air).

He just has no entertainment factor in his performance. You get better entertainment on local cards. People must be thick for paying to watch such a borefest.
