I couldn't agree more...bhop fights in spots but while most think he's not doing much of anything in between those spots, he's actually doing some real high level stuff quietly. The ebb and flow in a Hopkins fight is a lot different than most. He lulls his opponent in to these patterns they have a really hard time getting out of. But it allows Nard to control everything. ...from the pace, tempo, distance. ....the whole nine. That's when we see Nard put on a clinic which is what Cloud experienced first hand. Bhop pulled out all of the tricks from his bag in that performance at the age of 48. Crazy.

Most Hopkins fights are boring because he is a spoiler so his game is to stop other people playing their game. However, watching Bhop perform his craft is fascinating but not conventionally exciting

I thought the fight was enjoyable , i was amazed at the fact how Bernard took flush shots from Cloud and never seemed hurt at all . That old chin is still intact .

It was´nt an exciting fight. Hopkins is a spoiler - a very good one ! It was an interesting fight, because Hopkins at 48 was doing something nobody at his age had ever managed.

If u didn't know that Hopkins was 48 years old, or that he was one of the best fighters in the world, it would probably have been a typical/boring display

But if u know what was going on in the fight beyond the ropes, it would be and was exciting

But hey, I enjoyed Bradley-Alexander live, but I couldn't watch it more than a couple times afterward... This might be in that same boat
